How to Play:

This game can technically be played with only two-players, but is MUCH more fun with 3 or more. Find a way to decide who goes first. We recommend some sort of test of strength like who can punch the most holes in the drywall in 10 seconds, but you could also roll a dice or something boring like that. The first player then draws a card from the deck face up. The card will either be a Class, Spell, Item, Curse, or you left one of the rules cards in the stack you stupid idiot. If it is a Class card, the player places the card face up on the table in front of them and becomes that class. If it is a Spell card, the spell is instantly cast on the player drawing it unless the spell indicates otherwise. If it is an Item card, the players places the item face up in front of themselves and can use it at any time. If it is a Curse card, the player drawing is now cursed and the card is placed face up in front of them unless the curse indicates otherwise.

Prep:

While it is absolutely not required that you have these exact items before you start playing, we recommend you go ahead and gather them (or something similar enough to work) prior to starting the game:

  • White Sheet x 2

  • Bottle of Booze (Fireball Suggested)

  • Pair of Sunglasses

  • Apron

  • Towel

  • Shot Glasses

  • A Bunch of Dice

Disclaimer / Safety Notice:

Make sure everyone understands and consents to any cards/rules in the game. There are cards in this game that tell players to sit on each other's laps, remove clothing, slap butts, all of which can be done in a fun and silly way assuming that everyone in the game consents. Be respectful of each other and create house rules if this game is a little too much for you.

Also, don't be stupid! If you find yourself drinking too much then adjust accordingly.  Also, pay attention to the "Safety Net" rules. They are there for a reason.

Card Type Descriptions:

Class Cards: Class cards are some of the most powerful cards in the game. When you draw a class card you must become that class. If you already have a class you must discard your old class and become the new class. Some classes require you to change your clothing immediately. For example, the "King" class requires you to wear only a toga. However, all class costumes are immune from strip mechanics/rules unless the class card otherwise specifies.

Class cards also give special abilities or immunities that the player can take advantage of. For example, the "Waterfall Princess" must change into only a towel, but all curses are cleansed from the player and all future curses are re-directed to another player randomly.

Item Cards: Unless otherwise stated, all item cards are discarded after one use. However, cards that have an effect that doesn't require the player to take any actions are not discarded. Example: The "Purity Ring" prevents the player who possess it from having to remove clothing, but does not have to be discarded just because it blocked a strip command.

Item cards are the only "on use" cards in the game, meaning that all other card types immediately "happen" or "resolve" or "cast" right when they are drawn face up. Item cards do not, although some of them have effects that immediately help the player as soon as they are drawn. Instead, they are placed in front of the player drawing them and can be used at any time, instantly. The reason we say "instantly" is to make it clear that an item can interrupt something else about to occur and effectively cancel that action. Items can also be traded at any time. This means that if you are told to remove an article of clothing, you could try to trade someone for their "Suit of Armor" item, and then use it to cancel out the stripping.

Curses: Curses suck, hard. The worst part is that they are attached to you until you or another player remove them. Be careful because curses, classes, and spells can combine to lead to an exponential increase in the amount of drinks or strips you might be receiving in the near future. If there is anything you can do to get rid of a curse, do it as quickly as possible.

Spells: Spells are pretty self-explanatory. As soon as you draw them you do what the card says.

Safety Net Rules:

Sometimes in this game the drinks and strips can stack up quickly. Here are a set of optional rules that help to prevent an un-fun outcome in those scenarios.

If, in a single turn, a player is assigned:

- 10 or more drinks, instead all players drink 2.

- 3 or more 1/2 shots, instead all players drink a 1/2 shot.

- 2 or more full shots, instead all players drink a 1/2 shot.

- 4 or more strip effects, strips are cancelled and the player may put on an article.

Alternative Ways to Play:

I have gone back and forth on the best way to play this game. If you develop a better way to use the deck, like maybe having a "hand" where you draw 3-5 cards and then use them, or whatever your idea might be, please email me and let me know! WastedWanderersGame@gmail.com

I am designing a few expansions and would love to have any feedback I can get!
